Giving Week
Dear Saint Michaels Families,
I hope this message finds you all doing well and looking forward to the upcoming spring and Lenten season! The start of the new year has been filled with several fun activities and now as we focus on the last few months of the school year, there are many more occasions to become engaged and take advantage of the wonderful opportunities to connect with fellow families within our school community.
This week marks the kick-off of our first annual Giving Week to bolster fundraising efforts and parent engagement. Saint Michael’s foundation is built upon developing our student body into young adults who live in a culture of faith, service, and continued learning. This year, we have ambitious goals to enhance and increase our educational capacity that directly impacts our students and teachers.
We cannot achieve our goals without parent volunteerism and philanthropic giving. We are asking all families to consider how they are called to give. With your philanthropic contributions, we will expand our scholarship awards, provide additional academic enrichment opportunities, and embark upon much needed capital improvements to our buildings and surrounding areas.
As part of Giving Week, you will receive a Giving Pledge form, included in this link and later this week in printed form as well. Please give this survey a few minutes of your time as it allows me to better understand how parents will give of their time and to plan for activities and events. We request that thoughtful and prayerfully consider what pledge you are able to make this year. There are many ways to give back! You can volunteer to assist with the annual spring fundraiser and other PTO events, serve on the committee to reimagine senior and junior learning and play spaces, participate as a field trip chaperone, or assist with field day activities. We are also looking to plan a school-wide clean-up weekend to help identify where we can enhance how we use our spaces and become inspired to beautify our campus.

Rest assured, your pledge of any gift of your time, talent or treasure is meaningful to the mission of Saint Michael.
