Community
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Our school is blessed with a diverse community of students, families, and faculty who represent over 30 nationalities and ancestral countries, allowing our students to appreciate and thrive in a culturally diverse learning environment and learn from one another. Each year our community comes together during our International Day celebration to share a wide variety of dishes, performances, traditions, fashion, and show-and-tell items that showcase the various cultures represented at our school.
In addition, we have an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) whose mission is to work with our teachers, students, and staff to create a rich education and faith-filled environment, assist teachers with funds needed for their classrooms as well as treats through the year, and foster a feeling of community and welcome for all. The most important key to our children’s success is the partnership between the parents and the school. As the primary educators of our children, all parents are encouraged to volunteer and share in the responsibility to work with the school and support our wonderful teachers and staff through the PTO.
