Success Principles
“With God, there is no limit to what you can do. There is no obstacle you can’t overcome. Through Him, all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26
In conjunction with learning and practicing Catholic and Christian values, our students are taught, evaluated, and recognized for their practice of key principles and good habits that maximize their success. Our curriculum incorporates lessons on the achievements of famous Biblical, historical and modern figures, as well as the families and ancestors of our students who came to the United States to live the American Dream and give their children a brighter future in the land of opportunity.
The success principles we focus on can be categorized in the following areas:
- Personal Development: Our students are encouraged to set weekly and monthly goals and learn how to persevere and fail forward until success is achieved. In this process, they learn about the importance of accountability, organization, proactiveness, productivity, punctuality, responsibility and self-awareness.
- Leadership: Through our classwork, school-wide projects and enrichment programs, our students are challenged to build their confidence, enthusiasm, and presentation skills while practicing integrity, humility, gratitude and service to others.
- Healthy Habits: We teach our students to take pride in themselves by practicing good personal hygiene (with the help of our full-time school nurse Mrs. Roni Jarvis) and ensuring the cleanliness and neatness of their uniforms/shoes, their belongings and their environment. Additionally, we encourage our students to practice moderation and frugality in their daily lives to strengthen their self-discipline.
