Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Saint Michael School! I appreciate you visiting our website to learn about our wonderful spiritual and academic offerings. I could not be happier to be the new Principal of Saint Michael; joining a school and community with a rich history and traditions made over 62 years is a blessing for my family. Previously, I worked as the Assistant Principal of Saint Timothy Catholic School, and prior to that I was a high school English teacher at Paul VI Catholic High School. I attended Catholic Schools all my life, received my Masters in Education Administration from Marymount University, and have a love for education and the Faith that makes working in Catholic schools an ideal place to serve. I am thrilled to work with children every day, do my best to model a life focused on Christ, and if I am not in my office am usually found in PE or at recess throwing the football or shooting some hoops.

Previously, our school has been led by Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary for 62 years. We will continue to honor their spiritual contributions, traditions, and faith-filled life style in our daily school days. Saint Michael begins every day by setting the tone with an assembly and prayer as an entire school. We pray throughout the day, celebrate Mass weekly, Confession monthly, Adoration, and many other spiritual activities. Our Pastor, Fr. Drummond, is our spiritual shepherd and supports the school as a vital part to the parish. At Saint Michael we actively live the faith and serve God in all that we do.

I believe you will find our rigorous curriculum, advanced Math, and individualized approach to education ensure that all students are challenged to reach their greatest potential. Our student to teacher ratios are kept very small to ensure each child gets the individualized attention needed to best grow and learn. Our teachers are kind and caring, and look to partner with parents as the primary educators. Working together, we can ensure that all our students are set up to succeed spiritually and academically.

I am looking forward to a meeting all our students and having a fantastic year. Saint Michael is a historic institution in the Diocese of Arlington, and our traditions and rich love of the Faith will continue to guide us as we move forward.

God bless,
Daniel V. Cinalli
