Greetings First Grade Families!

I am so happy to have your children in our class! 🙂

Here are some things that we are planning to discuss this week:

In Language Arts, we will continue learning about “sh,” “ch,” and “tch” sounds and words.

In Math, we will be learning about numbers 1-30, counting on, positional words, and ordinal numbers (first – tenth).

In Religion, we will be practicing the Saint Michael the Archangel prayer and talking about ways that God watches over us.

In Science, we will be talking about our five senses.

In Social Studies, we will be discussing neighborhoods.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind regards,

Melissa Pollin
