Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Kindergarten: We are learning the early stages of solfedge – singing “so” and “mi” with the song “rain, rain, go away.”


1st Grade: Will be reviewing solfedge, (la, so, mi) and practicing singing piano (softly) and forte (loudly).


2nd Grade: Begin learning songs for All Saints Day. – “Oh When the Saints”


3rd Grade

We will review basic rhythm, and begin learning the names of the notes of the staff in preparation for Recorder Karate.

4th Grade

4th graders are working on “Angels We Have Heard on High” in music class. Each student has been assigned a hand bell and needs to practice their rhythms at home.

5th Grade

We will begin learning handbells in October. In preparation, we will review our basic rhythm concepts.

After school Choir meets from 3:15 – 4:05. All choir members must be signed up for after care. If you are more than 10 minutes late to pick up you child, they will sign into aftercare.

Treble Choir – the Advisory Choir, will be singing their own songs in the concerts and festivals. Dates for the festivals and concerts can be found in the main choir schedule. Treble choir will always meet during advisory on Friday from 9:00 – 9:50 AM.
